Assign the Unassigned License Type for Zoom in Okta

Overview
Okta provisions users with a Zoom Meetings Basic user type by default due to changes on the Zoom platform. Adding the Collaboration value to the User Type attribute in the Okta Profile Editor allows administrators to assign the Unassigned license type to users in Zoom.

Solution
How is the Unassigned license type configured for Zoom in Okta?
Add the Collaboration value to the User Type attribute in the Zoom application Profile Editor to assign the Unassigned license type to users.
- Navigate to the Okta Admin Console and go to Applications > Applications.
- Select the Zoom application.
- Go to the Provisioning tab.
- Scroll down and select Go to Profile Editor.
- Select the Edit (pencil) icon for the User Type attribute.
- Add another value under the Attribute members section.
- Enter
Collaborationas the Display name and Value. - Select Save.
- Verify users with the Collaboration user type appear in Zoom as Unassigned.
