Hi
I setup an external IDP, via the IDP I am authenticating all my apps on okta and I would like to know if there is a way to pass some app metadata in the authentication flow to my authentication app.
e.g appId, appName. like the idp is passing the loginHint param.

Out of the box there is no way for you to send that information in the authentication flow. As an alternative you can create custom attributes to and have that information passed in the SAML assertion. Please see article below:
